Sikinos is situated north of Santorini, between Ios and Folegandros. It has a permanent population of 300, rising to around 800 in the summer. It consists of two villages and a port. One village is completele residential with no shops - only houses. Regular Ferry services from Piaeus (9hrs.) and the neighbouring islands. Santorini has an international airport and is 1 1/2 hours away.
